We Specialize in All Types of
Home Attic Insulation

Blown-In Insulation
Blown-in insulation is a popular choice for attics because it provides excellent coverage and r-value. Made largely from fiberglass or cellulose, it fills gaps and hard-to-reach spaces easily. It’s great for boosting energy efficiency and reducing heat loss, especially in older homes with uneven or inadequate insulation.

Spray Foam Insulation
Spray foam offers superior air sealing and insulation performance in one. Applied as a liquid that expands into a solid foam, it creates a tight thermal barrier ideal for attics. It’s perfect for preventing drafts, moisture issues, and energy loss, even during Minnesota’s harshest winters.

Rigid Foam Insulation
Rigid foam panels provide high insulation value in a thin layer. Commonly used on attic walls or under roofing, it’s great for adding thermal resistance and moisture control. Lightweight, durable, and easy to cut, rigid foam is ideal when space is limited but high-performance insulation is still needed.

Reflective/Radiant Barrier Insulation
Radiant barrier insulation is designed to reflect heat rather than absorb it. Installed in attics, it helps keep homes cooler by reducing radiant heat transfer from the roof. While not a standalone solution in cold climates, it works well when paired with other insulation in Minnesota homes.

Cotton Insulation
Made from recycled denim and cotton fibers, this eco-friendly insulation offers good thermal and sound-dampening properties. It’s safe to use and contains no irritating chemicals. Though less common than fiberglass, cotton insulation appeals to homeowners looking for a sustainable, non-toxic solution for attic spaces.

Mineral Wool Insulation
Mineral wool—also known as rock wool—is fire-resistant, soundproof, and resistant to moisture and pests. It performs well in attics and roof assemblies where fire safety is a concern. It also maintains its shape over time, making it a reliable long-term solution for insulating your home.

Perlite Insulation
Perlite is a lightweight material often used in loose-fill attic insulation or mixed with other materials. It provides thermal resistance and is naturally fire resistant and moisture resistant. While not as common in residential use, it can be found in specialty attic insulation applications.

Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
SIPs are prefabricated panels consisting of rigid foam sandwiched between structural boards. While more commonly used in new construction, they offer high insulation value and airtightness. In attic conversions or new roof builds, SIPs can create a highly efficient, structurally sound space.

Polyisocyanurate Insulation (Polyiso)
Polyiso is a high-performance rigid foam board with one of the best R-values per inch. It’s ideal for attics where maximum insulation is needed in limited space. Often used in roofing systems, it also includes a foil facing that adds radiant heat resistance.

Cellulose Insulation
Cellulose insulation is made from recycled paper treated for fire resistance. Blown into attics, it creates a dense, effective thermal barrier that fills gaps well. It’s eco-friendly, cost-effective, and especially popular for insulating older homes that need improved energy performance and comfort.
